Big organisations are noticing what Harry did. Guys, this is so big, this is bigger than ever before. He’s definitely gonna change something in the world.
I don’t think that sounds ignorant at all. I think that’s a perfectly fine attitude to have towards it. Not everyone needs to be invested in their personal lives or romantic interests, just so long as you’re actually open to the idea of any of them being something other than straight.
But, you know, even aside from my personal reasons for believing Harry and Louis are together, I think Harry in particular has taken some pretty major steps in recent weeks to show the world where he stands on the issue.
Well, it’s really not as simple as all that. I suppose they could possibly make a case for negligence at this point if they wanted to, but it’s not just “Oh, you’ve violated this clause, so I’m leaving. Have a nice life. Cheers.”
Getting out of the contract at this point would involve what would likely amount to years of lengthy and expensive court battles over the exact terms of the contract. At this point, with what looks to be very little time left to wait, it would be stupid of them to get involved in something like that. Better to put up with a tense working relationship than kick up a big fuss and wind up losing money and many more things in the process.
At this point, neither party is going to take legal steps unless it’s a very cut-and-dried case — someone in the band makes a major breach of contract by massively breaking an image clause by coming out unsanctioned via Twitter or photo leak or something or the people on the management side of things do something wildly negligent, like failing to arrange security for a concert. It would have to be really out there at this point to bring either side to the point of suing.
Interesting point. I guess we’ll see. :)
